Fabrication and coded welding services
In support of offshore and subsea operations, James Fisher Marine Services is pleased to offer machining, fabrication and coded welding services to its customers.
James Fisher Marine Services has recently invested in a full machining, fabrication and coded welding workshop with experienced personnel to support its customers in the design, manufacture, service and repair of offshore equipment.
Fabrication and coded welding services include:
- Bespoke precision made components
- Conventional and CNC turning and milling
- Prototype and low volume orders
- Batch work
- Full material traceability
- Modifications and repairs to existing components
Dive equipment and fabrication services include:
- Coded welding in accordance with BS.EN.ISO:15614-1:(2004+A2:2012)/AWS D1.1/DNV 2.7-1
- Design services and stress calculations
- Supply data manuals containing all relevant certification and documentation for full traceability requirements
- Able to work with certification authorities, including Lloyds, DNV and Bureau Veritas, to industry recognised standards, including DNV 2.7-1, 2.7-3 and 2.22
- Manufactured products can be designed and built in accordance with certifying authorities design requirements:
- Shipping containers
- Bespoke lifting appliances and lifting clamps
- Shipping baskets
- Open top containers
- Vessel mobilisation and de-mobilisation works
- Repairs
- Testing and re-certification as required, including load testing and NDT inspections
