New appointments key to continued growth
James Fisher Marine Services (JFMS) has strengthened its services to offshore oil & gas and renewable clients with a hat-trick of key account director appointments.
John Price joins from JDR Cables, now part of TFKable Group, where he has held a number of roles since 2000, including his most recent position as Global Sales Director for Renewable Products and Services.
Commenting on his new role, John said:
"I’m delighted to be joining JFMS at this exciting time for the offshore energy industry. I hope all my industry experience will immediately contribute to the continued growth of the company."
Peter Godfrey joins from global conglomerate Siemens, where he secured offshore wind turbine orders for projects with some of the world’s leading developers. Earlier in his career, he worked for Rolls-Royce in the civil aerospace gas turbine industry in a variety of roles based in the UK, Canada and the USA.
Commenting on his new role, Peter said:
“I'm looking forward to connecting with previous and new customers, and finding new ways for JFMS to continue to generate value for them.”
In addition to the latest recruits, Ben Hooker, has been promoted as a third key account director in recognition of the instrumental role he has played to help navigate the business through its period of evolution and growth. With global experience in the upstream oil & gas, marine and renewable energy sectors, Ben first joined JFMS’ parent company, James Fisher and Sons plc, in 2015 and has since held a number of senior positions focused on sales, strategy and business development.
Commenting on his promotion, Ben said:
"JFMS has rapidly evolved into one of the leading providers of construction support and balance of plant services to the offshore renewables industry. We now want to diversify geographically into new sectors –and consistently exceed the expectations of our clients as we do so. We’re in an excellent position to maximise these growth opportunities and I’m incredibly excited and humbled to be part of a world-class team.”
The trio have a wealth of offshore energy industry experience and will ensure that JFMS continues to grow and deliver value to its customers through the provision of integrated services and specialist solutions to offshore market sectors.
JFMS Director of Strategy and Business Development, Martin Dronfield, said:
“I’m delighted to be able to welcome both John and Peter to JFMS –and especially pleased to promote Ben to our key account team.
“Over the past five years we have considerably expanded our services to the offshore energy sector, now reaching a scale that demands we adopt a more strategic approach to our client network. John, Peter and Ben all bring with them significant experience of relationship management and will help ensure we achieve our ambitions and continue to add value to our clients.”
