JFMS wins Best Regional Contribution at the 2017 EEEGR awards 

The award follows a year of significant investment in the area and the commencement of the high-profile Galloper project. 

James Fisher Marine Services (JFMS) is delighted to announce it has been awarded the Best Regional Contribution to Local Content Award at the 2017 East of England Energy Group (EEEGR) awards held at Dunston Hall, Norwich, on the 14 September.   

The award, which is presented to the company who has made the biggest contribution to the East of England, recognised JFMS’s investment in people, infrastructure and the local supply chain over the past twelve months.

JFMS’ dedication to the area has seen it develop it’s state of the art Offshore Wind Management System (OWMS), to better service the region’s renewable projects. In the same period of time JFMS has been awarded the Galloper OSC contract, prompting further employment and investment. 

Martin Sisley, managing director of services at JFMS said of the win:

“We are delighted to have been awarded the Best Regional Contribution to Local Content Award, as it not only shows our dedication to enterprise in the East of England, but also how skilled the area is in terms of technical expertise and personnel.

“In the past 12 months we have project managed many large scale projects in the region, and have seen the delivery of over 200,000 safe working hours on Galloper, and the full-time employment of over sixty staff.  Every project we undertake is a combined team effort and this award is a credit to everyone at James Fisher.”  Sisley concluded.
