James Fisher Marine Services (JFMS) brings diving squad to Seawork 2018.
In partnership with the Association of Diving Contractors UK & Ireland (UK ADC), we will be demonstrating specialist diving equipment and technology at Seawork 2018.
We will provide a supervisor and four-man commercial diving team to deliver a full programme of continuous dive demonstration activity, from a bespoke 20ft dive tank, on each day of the exhibition (3-5 July).
The demonstrations hope to promote the art and science of commercial diving and include helmet trials, ROV operations, pipe coupling and underwater rigging.
Taira Caton, UK ADC secretary, said:
“We’re delighted to be able to showcase some of the tasks that the average commercial diver carries out underwater. It’s also a great way to demystify the work of the diver and allows people to see first-hand what can actually be achieved underwater with the right skills and technology.”
Fendercare Marine, another part of the James Fisher and Sons plc group, will also be exhibiting its world-leading equipment and marine solutions. The Fendercare team will be on hand to discuss their full product line, covering all aspects of fendering, mooring, deck and quayside equipment, all of which is available worldwide.
