James Fisher Marine Services (JFMS) is a leading diving and subsea engineering organisation. We fully understand our responsibilities in ensuring and promoting the health, safety and welfare of all members of staff and associates, meaning our HSQE management is a company-wide commitment.
Our policies and procedures are fully compliant with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and are applied to all activities in which we are involved. We have a robust safety management system (SMS) which we continually review and operate within; this ensures the tight control of all our offshore processes, procedures and systems.
From workforce personnel through to our operational support teams, we ensure that the correct training, experience, equipment and communication routes are in place to effectively manage systems and adhere to our policy of continuous improvement.
JFMS is committed to minimising environmental impact and preventing pollution which may arise as a consequence of JFMS’s activities, operating an Environmental Management Policy (EMP) that is accredited to ISO 14001.
To demonstrate JFMS’s long-term commitment to improving environmental management on a global basis, the EMP also incorporates JFMS’s commitment to sustainable procurement, waste management and carbon footprint reduction policies.
